Job Description
Position Summary
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the scrap yard, managing staff, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, improving workflow efficiency, and driving profitability
Key Responsibilities
•Supervise and coordinate daily yard operations, logistics, and workforce management.
•Monitor and control inventory levels and incoming/outgoing scrap materials.
•Implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental procedures.
•Manage and analyze budgets, costs, and operational KPIs.
•Ensure quality control and customer service excellence.
•Prepare operational and financial reports for senior management.
•Support business growth by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Minimum Requirements
•A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Accounting, or a related business field.
•3–5 years of proven experience in an operations management or supervisory role.
•Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
•Solid understanding of business and operational processes.
•Accounting background will be considered a strong advantage.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
