AECI Botswana (Pty) Ltd, an explosives and specialty chemicals company focused on providing products and services to a broad spectrum of customers in mining, manufacturing and agricultural sectors, has the following vacancy
BLASTING ASSISTANT – MOTHEO COPPER MINE (3 YEAR 4 MONTHS CONTRACT)
Core Responsibilities
– SHEQ recognition and compliance
– On-the-bench blast preparation and explosives quality check duties
– Loading and off-loading of explosives at the magazines and on-bench
– Housekeeping duties for the plant, explosives magazines and vehicles as required by company procedures
– Adhering to all safety procedures as per the company rules and regulations
– Assisting the Blaster with all the blasting operations duties
