AECI Botswana (Pty) Ltd, an explosives and specialty chemicals company focused on providing products and services to a broad spectrum of customers in mining, manufacturing and agricultural sectors, has the following vacancy
UBS TECHNICIAN X3 – JWANENG DEBSWANA MINE (2 YEAR 7 MONTHS CONTRACT)
Core Responsibilities
– Fixed and mobile equipment maintenance, service and inspections
– Mobile Charging Units (MCU) Calibrations
– Assist the Site Manager with engineering projects management
– Maintenance related monthly reporting to AECI Botswana, the Group and the client
– Maintenance scheduling and forecasting
– Equipment breakdown and planned maintenance
– Critical and other spares management
– Equipment availabilities management
– Conduct equipment trip tests
– Centralised blasting system maintenance
– Maintenance related store keeping
Qualifications
, Experience and Skills Requirements
– At least a Diploma or NCC in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
– At least 4 years’ experience in a similar, explosives equipment maintenance, environment
– Knowledge of Mobile Charging Units and pump maintenance
– Valid class B driver’s license
– Experience in maintenance of explosives plants
– Must be a Motswana
– Must be able to speak Setswana and English fluently
– Knowledge and experience in AECI products is an added advantage
