Great Explorations/ Xigera Safari Lodge is looking for a qualified and dedicated local candidate to join their team in the capacity of a Chef de Partie based at Xigera Safari Lodge in the Delta.
Job Summary: Responsible for consistent preparation of high-standard menus and food presentations which match international quality resulting in outstanding guest satisfaction. Adherence to excellent kitchen hygiene practices and safety measures in the kitchen at all times. The candidate will be reporting to The Executive Chef.
Qualifications
First Entry- Diploma in Food preparation and cooking- (Culinary Arts)
Work experience & Requirements
• Must be a graduate from a certified and recognizable training institution
• Must have 3- 5 years’ work experience in a five-star hotel or Lodge
• Submit an updated curriculum Vitae
• The candidate should be able to anticipate guests needs, ascertain satisfaction and ability to work under extended periods in the Delta
• Must be a team player and competent with excellent communication skills
• Able to demonstrate high standards of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
