
Camp Manager at Lodges of Botswana
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all daily operations of the eco camp to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience

Lead a team of housekeeping, kitchen, and maintenance, fostering a positive and efficient work environment

Monitor and maintain high standards of service delivery, cleanliness, and guest safety

Handle guest relations with professionalism, ensuring all needs are met with personalized attention

Manage camp inventory, supplies, and procurement processes, ensuring sustainability principles are applied
-
Collaborate with guides and coordinate activities to ensure smooth execution of safaris and other guest experiences
-
Monitor and control camp budgets, expenses, and reporting to Operations Manager and head office
-
Ensure full compliance with environmental and safety regulations, including waste management, water usage, and fire safety protocols
-
Coordinate logistics including staff shifts, guest transfers, and emergency procedures
-
Liaise with local communities and conservation partners to promote responsible tourism
-
Conduct regular staff training and performance evaluations

Maintain the overall appearance, ambiance, and eco-friendly operations of the camp
Qualifications and Skills:
-
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Environmental Management, or related field

Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in lodge or camp management, preferably in remote or wilderness settings
