Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Oversee and coordinate all camp operations to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction

  • Approve camp requisitions and manage logistical support for timely delivery of supplies

  • Supervise and provide leadership to Camp Managers and on-site teams

  • Report operational challenges and solutions to the Maun Head Office

  • Provide expert advice and approvals on camp projects and infrastructure

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all camp operations

  • Monitor budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost-effective operations

  • Conduct regular camp visits for quality control and performance evaluations

  • Support the implementation of staff training and development programs

  • Uphold and promote the company’s ecological and sustainability principles across all activities

 

 

Requirements:

 

 

  • A degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality, Environmental Studies, or a related field

  • Proven experience in camp or lodge management, preferably in remote settings

  • Sound knowledge of bush life and wilderness operations

  • A deep passion for the environment with an environmentally conscious mindset

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Willingness to live and work in remote bush locations for extended periods

  • Commitment to conform to and promote the ecological ethos of the company
