Job Description
Qualifications:
Diploma in Fire Engineering and Safety Management or BSc in Fire Engineering, BSc in Fire Safety or BSc Fire Safety Management or related field from an accredited institution.
Experience:
At least twelve (12) years’ relevant work experience, two (2) of which should have been served at D4 salary scale or in a similar level in the private sector.

Job Purpose:
- Coordinate Fire, Crash and Rescue Services activities in the Botswana Defence Force to ensure attainment of BDF goals.
- Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the implementation of Fire, Crash and Rescue Services policies and procedures to ensure adherence to standards.
- Provide advice and recommendations to the achievement of BDF Fire, Crash and Rescue Services objectives.
- Provide technical advice to management for the achievement of the Fire, Crash and Rescue Services goals.
- Manage the implementation of performance management and disciplinary action processes to ensure achievement of organizational goals.
- Manage the implementation of the Fire, Crash and Rescue Services personal and skills development programs.
- Ensure the implementation of the Crash, Fire and Rescue Services operational and administrative activities.
- Ensure the implementation and monitoring of the Crash, Fire and Rescue Services policies and procedures.
