Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Claims Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end claims management process, ensuring efficient, fair, and timely resolution of insurance claims in line with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
This role involves leading the claims team, managing high-value or complex claims, liaising with clients, assessors, and legal advisors, and implementing strategies to improve claims service delivery and cost control. The Claims Manager also plays a key role in risk assessment, fraud detection, customer satisfaction, and continuous process improvement within the claims department.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance or a related field
- Associate or Fellow member of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA) or equivalent
- Any other relevant insurance qualification is an added advantage
- At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience within underwriting
- At least 1 year at supervisory level
