Job Description
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Fire Engineering and Safety Management or BSc in Fire Engineering, BSc in Fire Safety or BSc Fire Safety Management or related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience: At least eight (8) years’ relevant work experience, two (2) of which should have been served at D5 salary scale or in a similar level in the private sector.

- Firefighters overtime allowance at 30% of basic salary.
Job Purpose:
- To manage the implementation of Crash, Fire and Rescue Services policies and procedures in the Botswana Defence Force.
- Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide advice to the implementation of firefighting policies and procedures to ensure adherence to governing standards.
- Contribute to organizational firefighting issues and queries to ensure timely resolution.
- Manage the implementation of performance management and disciplinary action processes to ensure achievement of organizational goals.
- Provide technical advice to management for the achievement of the Fire, Crash and Rescue Services goals.
