Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and functionality of electrical systems and equipment at camp.
- Maintain solar generators and inverters.
- Ensure compliance with wiring and safety standards.
Core Responsibilities:
- Monitor weekly and monthly solar readings.
- Create and maintain an electrical equipment register.
- Schedule generator servicing.
- Perform preventative maintenance on UPS systems and generators.
- Attend to electrical faults.
- Monitor electrical work by maintenance support team.
- Liaise with third-party solar installers.
- Ensure deadlines are met.
Minimum Role Requirements:
- National Craft Certificate (Electrical).
- At least three (3) years hands-on experience in a similar role.
- Required Competencies:
- Analytical and critical thinking.
- Diagnostic ability.
- Physically fit.
- Technical skill.
