Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

 

 

– To record and analyse financial activities, and to provide management with relevant information to guide decision making.
– To develop and implement financial controls and plans that support the company’s growth and profitability.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITY

 

 

– Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
– Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff.
– An efficient role player in achieving operational targets and the organisation’s strategic key performance goals.
– Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
– Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
– Monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards.

 

REQUIREMENTS

– 3 – 5 years’ experience as an Accountant, Financial Analyst or similar role and leading a team in maintaining a financial management and reporting system.

 

ADDED ADVANTAGE

– Professional certificate – CIMA, ACCA, BICA.

 

QUALIFICATION

– Degree in Finance or Accounting.
