Job Description
Qualifications:
Basic Firemanship Course. Basic Ambulance Course and will be an advantage.
Experience:
Direct Entry. No work experience required.
Salary scale: B3/2 (P65,508 – P91,344) per annum.
Leave: 30 working days per annum.
Benefits:
a. Optional Contributory Medical Aid Scheme (Government pays 50% while employee pays 50%).
b. Contributory Pension Scheme (Government pays 15% while Employee pays 5%).
c. Housing and Upkeep Allowance of P398.80 per month.
d. 30% Firefighters’ overtime allowance.
Job Purpose:
Undertakes firefighting operations to ensure provision of effective and efficient, crash, fire and rescue services.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
a. Undertake firefighting operations to prevent loss of life and property.
b. Preserve the scene to prevent destruction of evidence for investigation purposes.
c. Undertake firefighting drills to ensure operational readiness.
d. Use equipment in servicing to preventative maintenance.
