Job Description
Purpose:
Oversight and coordination of all food and beverage operations. Ensure highest guest satisfaction while managing costs within budget. Responsible for menu development, inventory, purchasing, cost control, budgeting, quality control, staff management, and adherence to SHE policies.
Core Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage staff performance (customer service, hygiene, presentation).
- Develop, implement, and update camp menu offerings.
- Support menu pricing.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Ensure availability of correct beverages.
- Establish and maintain inventory control and ordering procedures.
- Manage operations within budget.
- Develop supplier partnerships and manage buying relationships.
- Ensure staff training aligns with business requirements.
- Develop/review department procedures in liaison with HR.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant Culinary school degree.
- Valid driver’s license.
- At least 10 years’ experience in a similar role, 5 at management level.
Competencies:
- Exceptional leadership.
- Budget and cost management.
- Excellent communication.
- Flexibility and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
