Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pricing and product development support as well as technical assistance for long-term insurance products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribute to the implementation of the Hollard Life product strategy.

Contribute to the overall effectiveness and delivery of work within the Actuarial Services team.

Design and pricing of new and existing products in line with the product development control cycle.

Generate and review product documentation for new and existing products, documenting the processes followed as well as the current status quo.

Perform on-going systems set-up, updates and maintenance.

Perform risk reporting and monitoring for all products.

Deliver ad-hoc support services as requested from business units relating to research and data analysis activities.

Ensure customers are treated fairly. Maintain a high level of service to customers (internal and external) according to the service standards as set by the company.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
Fellow member of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA) or international equivalent, preferably specialising in Life insurance.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
-
Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in long-term insurance pricing and product development.
