
IT Support Officer (Tech-Forward) at Sky Bridge Logistics
Job Description
Sky Bridge Logistics is looking for a proactive and tech-savvy IT Support Officer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering efficient and secure IT support across all company locations, while also introducing modern, cost-effective technologies that enhance productivity and operational reliability.
Role Overview:
As an IT Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining robust IT systems and infrastructure, supporting end-users across both HQ and remote sites, and helping the company stay ahead in technology trends, including basic AI integrations and process automation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma in Information Technology, Networking, or Systems Administration.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in end-user IT support and infrastructure administration.
- Hands-on experience with VPNs, routers, firewalls (preferably Sophos), and remote support tools.
- Valid Class B Driver’s License (must be willing to travel between sites as needed).
Desirable Assets:Â
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 environments.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems or documentation tools.
- Understanding of basic AI/automation trends or willingness to learn.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, MTA, or Sophos Certified Associate are an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage network infrastructure including FTTB, Starlink, VPN, and Sophos systems.
- Provide daily IT support to staff across all SBL locations.
- Configure and secure firewalls, remote access tools, and email systems.
- Administer and maintain hardware/software endpoints (Windows OS, mobile devices, M365).
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across platforms such as Microsoft 365, ERP, and logistics systems.
- Maintain up-to-date IT documentation, asset registers, and support logs.
- Enforce basic cybersecurity practices such as patch management, backups, and user awareness.
- Identify and recommend simple automation tools or low-cost tech solutions that add value.
- Oversee employee IT onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring proper provisioning and de-provisioning.
- Ensure data backup systems, security protocols, and disaster recovery measures are operational.
- Continuously document solutions, procedures, and IT workflows for internal use.
