Job Description
Job Summary
Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the Maintenance Planner is responsible for providing logistics support to the maintenance management of mechanical, electrical, software and instrumentation equipment to ensure optimal system availability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned maintenance and shutdown schedules
- Progress measurement and Progress reporting
- Administration of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Asset management optimization
- Project management
- Safety, health and environmental compliance
Qualifications & Experience
* National Craft Certificate or National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
* At least 5 years’ experience in a mining and maintenance planning environment.
* Class B Driver’s License.
