Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Oversee maintenance and repair activities of camp and company assets.
  • Ensure well-maintained facilities and a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Coordinate logistical support for daily camp operations.
  • Support the Projects Team.

 

 

Core Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Conduct routine inspections of camp and operations infrastructure and equipment.
  • Prepare periodic maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate staffing needs with the Administration Manager.
  • Allocate and undertake maintenance tasks.
  • Oversee and guide maintenance staff.
  • Prepare the annual maintenance budget and monitor financial spend.
  • Report cost overruns and take corrective action.
  • Provide reports and updates to management and staff.

 

 

Minimum Role Requirements:

 

 

  • Degree in Engineering, Asset Management, or related field.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
  • Business management certificate or experience is an added advantage.
  • Required Competencies:
  • Leadership skills.
  • Business acumen.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
