Materials Engineer at Bango Trading
Job Description
Main Duty
-
Ensure the quality and appropriateness of materials used in construction projects align with set standards.
Key Responsibilities
-
Conduct tests on materials to confirm they meet project specifications and standards.

Maintain detailed records of material tests, approvals, and any corrective actions.

Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth project execution.

Assess and select suitable materials for road construction based on their properties, cost, and project requirements.
-
Identify and resolve material-related issues (e.g., defects or non-compliance); recommend corrective action.
-
Provide technical support and guidance throughout the construction process for effective material usage.

Perform any other reasonably assigned duties as required for service needs.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

Valid Class B driver’s license
Experience

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in bituminous paved roadways and road works construction
