Job Summary
Reporting to the Senior Mine Planning Engineer, the Mine Planning Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed short-term production and development plans to support the successful execution of the Sub Level Retreat mining. The role ensures alignment with operational targets and contractor performance, contributing to cost efficiency, schedule compliance, and a smooth transition from project phase to steady-state operations.

Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Mining Engineering or Equivalent.
* At least 5 years post qualification experience in an underground mining environment with 2 years in a similar position.
* Knowledge of Mine Planning and Scheduling Software e.g. Deswik, Datamine, GEMS, SURPAC, OPDS, Whittle.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Knowledge of applicable mining legislation i.e. Mine, Quarries, Works and Machinery Act.
* Botswana underground blasting license.
* Registration with Engineering Registration Board (ERB).
