Key Responsibilities:

-Develop short-, medium-, and long-term mine plans, including drill and blast designs.

-Use Deswik or equivalent software to optimize production schedules and layouts.

-Conduct stope optimization, sequencing, and mine design reviews to maximize productivity.

-Collaborate with operations, geology, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of plans and daily execution.

-Monitor performance against mine plans and recommend improvements in safety, cost, and productivity.

-Uphold documentation and compliance standards related to mine planning.

Requirements and Skills:

-Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.

-Proven underground mine planning experience in mechanized mining environments.

-Strong working knowledge of Deswik or similar mine planning software.

-Experience in stope optimization, scheduling, and underground design.

-Solid understanding of mining operations, geology, and geotechnical considerations.

-Strong teamwork and communication skills to work across multidisciplinary teams.

-A safety-focused mindset and ability to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
