Production Specialist at BOPP & PP Bag Manufacturing

About Us:
Mega Bags Botswana is a trusted manufacturer of high-quality woven polypropylene (PP) and BOPP laminated bags used across industries such as agriculture, construction, food, and chemicals. We are looking for an experienced Production Specialist with hands-on knowledge of industrial sewing machines used in woven bag production.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate the end-to-end production process for PP woven and BOPP laminated bags.

Operate and supervise machines including extrusion, weaving, lamination, printing, cutting, and industrial sewing units (e.g., bag bottom stitchers, side seamers).

Ensure that all sewn bags meet strength, alignment, and quality specifications.

Train and supervise machine operators and sewing line staff.

Conduct routine inspections and minor maintenance on sewing machines and other production equipment.

Maintain daily production logs and quality reports.

Promote adherence to safety, hygiene, and operational standards on the factory floor.
Qualifications & Experience:

Certificate in Production Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in PP/BOPP bag manufacturing.
