Job Description
Job purpose
 Fire Safety, First Aid & Occupational Health
Job Purpose:
Implement and oversee fire safety, first aid and occupational health protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel entering the mine site.
Key Responsibilities:
•Conduct and facilitate safety inductions for all site entrants.
•Implement and monitor compliance with fire safety, first aid and health protocols.
•Investigate and log safety incidents and concerns.
•Recommend corrective actions and implement lessons learned from corrective actions.
•Maintain safety records and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Fire Safety, or related field.
•A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a safety role, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
•Certification in Fire Safety and First Aid Safety Training.
•Strong planning, communication and report-writing skills.
