Job Summary

 

 

Reporting to the Operational Readiness Lead, the Trainer – Mining is responsible for conducting training needs, developing, implementing, and maintaining training programs for mining operations personnel in an underground mining environment. This role ensures that all mining activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

  • Establishes and conducts training need analysis

  • Training delivery

  • Apply appropriate training methodologies aligned to OEM requirements

  • Evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of training and development programmes

  • Training Administration

  • Safety, health and environmental compliance

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

 

 

  • Diploma in Mining or equivalent.

  • At least 5 years’ post qualification experience in Training & Development

  • Train the Trainer and Assessor certificates from recognized training institutions, either BQA or SAQA aligned.

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills

  • Registration with BQA.
