Trainer – Mobile Equipment Operator at Lucara Botswana

Job Summary
Reporting to the Operational Readiness Lead, the Trainer – Mobile Equipment will implement operator training plans and schedules as designed and developed. The position will further provide, facilitate and coordinate operator training programmes.
Key Responsibilities
* Establishes and conducts training need analysis
* Develop and Deliver training programs on Heavy Moving machinery
* Apply appropriate training methodologies aligned to OEM requirements
* Evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of training and development programmes
* Training administration
* Safety, health and environmental compliance
Qualifications & Experience
* Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
* At least 5 years’ experience as an Operator Trainer/Assessor.
* Botswana Training Authority Registered Trainer/Assessor in Heavy Earth Moving Machinery.
* Train the Trainer and Assessor certificates from recognized training institution, either BQA or SAQA aligned.
* Having worked as a Heavy Earth Moving Machinery operator will be an added advantage.
* Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
* Registration with BQA.
