Job Description

Master Farmer Feeds (Pty) Ltd requires the services of a Partially Qualified and experienced Accountant for its Finance department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Preparation of Monthly / Weekly Financial report
  • Preparation / review of periodic accounts reconciliations
  • Trial Balance and general ledger maintenance
  • Coordinate and drive monthly stock count procedures and oversee the stock management functions
  • Plan and schedule staff work activities
  • Managing creditors and debtors accounts
  • Overseeing stock management functions
  • Supervising staff members in the admin and finance department
  • Preparation of analyses and reports for decision making and group reporting
  • Assist internal and external audits
  • Manage tax related submissions and correspondences.
  • Review monthly payments

The prospective candidate must possess the following attributes

  • Partially qualified BICA/ ACCA / CIMA or equivalent /Degree in Accounting and finance /
  • Active membership with BICA at an applicable category
  • Prior experience of at least 3 years in the position of an Accountant/ a senior Auditor
  • Hands on experience in one of the reputed ERP or Accounting application
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel
  • Good knowledge in other MS Office applications
  • Good knowledge and Creditor, Debtors and Inventory management
  • Able to present the monthly / weekly financial reports to the board.
