2. FINANCE MANAGER

Job Purpose

Reporting to the CEO, the Finance Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the finance and accounting functions of the business to contribute to profitability by ensuring; accurate and timely production of accounts and financial reports in accordance with international accounting standards; optimisation of investments and provision of financial information and analysis to facilitate the management of risk.

The incumbent will be responsible for, among others, the following:

1. Formulation of finance strategy
2. Financial analysis and reporting
3. Budget and Control
4. Financial management
5. Effective People Management
6. Risk & Compliance Management

The Person

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

– A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related
– At least 8 years post qualification experience in accounting with at least 4 years at a managerial level.
– Professional Qualification: ACCA, CIMA or related accounting professional membership
– BICA membership at least Fellow level is essential
