The mine wishes to recruit experienced Mine Engineer to join our dynamic security operations team.

MINING ENGINEER

Job Purpose:

The position will be responsible for providing technical support in the planning, preparation, and execution of mining operations by assisting with mine designs, risk assessments, dewatering solutions and project studies. The role also ensures safe, efficient and cost-effective mining practices through accurate input on operational timelines, risk management and technical evaluations while supporting senior engineers and contributing to overall project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with mining preparations and implementation of operational plans.

• Provide input on mining risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Contribute to mining studies, including feasibility and operational assessments.

• Offer technical input on dewatering processes and related infrastructure.

• Support the development of timeline estimates and project schedules.

• Collaborate with senior engineers, geologists, and operational teams to ensure smooth execution of mining activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field.

• 5-10 years’ relevant mining experience.

• Strong technical knowledge of mining methods and mine planning.

• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on safety and efficiency.

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
