Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily deliveries to be made in accordance with designated route and Trip sheet.
• Sign for and ensure correct goods are loaded onto vehicle daily. – Assume responsibility and security of all goods on truck.
• Load and offload with assistant where required.
• Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately for returnable containers and goods and signed for on return by relevant authorities.
• Ensure that products returned are checked and signed for by the relevant authorities.
• Adhere to the rules of the road and void negligent and reckless driving.
• Complete a vehicle checklist and report any faults on truck to Supervisor.
• Maintain vehicle in good order, and in a clean and tidy condition.
• Obtain necessary signatures on all delivery notes.
• Short deliveries/missing stock for driver’s account.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Driver’s license (Code 10) + PRDPmust have at least 5 x years’ experience as a delivery driver
• Willing to work long hours and some weekends
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Must be able to execute given instructions
• Must be able to read and write
• Team player
• Excellent knowledge of Gauteng and Surrounding Areas
• Basic administration knowledge
• No Criminal Record
