MP Mining is a Mining Contractor for Leboam Holdings (PTY) Ltd which owns Kopano Copper Mine, located in the North-Eastern part of Botswana off Mosetse and Dukwi Villages. The Company is currently looking for recruits driven, agile and suitably qualified individuals to fill the below position:

3. EXPLORATION GEOLOGIST

Oversee day to day exploration activities including drilling supervision and logging. Contribute to problem solving during drilling and drill hole monitoring to facilitate a timely response to
any challenges. Involved in accurate and comprehensive data collection, management, and interpretation. Carry out field excursions and mapping as and when required as well as supervising technicians in the field. Develop and oversee subordinates in all relevant geology and exploration activities including sampling and sample monitoring. Commitment to workplace safe in all areas of operation.

Minimum Requirements:

BSc Geology or equivalent with at least ten (5) years experience in exploration and mining industry with preference to open pit operations. Competent in Diamond drill supervision and core logging
