MP Mining is a Mining Contractor for Leboam Holdings (PTY) Ltd which owns Kopano Copper Mine, located in the North-Eastern part of Botswana off Mosetse and Dukwi Villages. The Company is currently looking for recruits driven, agile and suitably qualified individuals to fill the below position:

1. PROJECT DIRECTOR (PRODUCTION)

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the organization’s assets, as well as the welfare of employees within the company’s premises. To manage the execution of the required work within the project schedules and contractual agreements ensuring technical excellence and effective coordination of the respective staff within the project team. Plan, direct, coordinate, or budget, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. Conducting training and programs to employees to safety and emergency drills.

Minimum Requirements:

A mining savvy Project Director with 35 years open cast experience in project execution across multiple geographies in the Load and Haul discipline and mining operators of which 10 years should have been in the hard rock mining industry. Incumbent must be visionary, decisive and innovative.
