Johdee Mineral Processing (Pty) Ltd, a leading contract operator in coal processing, is seeking an experienced and visionary Operations Manager to lead its operations in Botswana. The Company currently operates two coal processing plants at Masama and Morupule, serving major clients in the mining sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for Johdee’s coal processing operations in Botswana.

• Ensure efficient management of the Masama and Morupule processing plants, delivering optimal throughput, recovery, and product quality.

• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement in coal handling, processing, and plant performance.

• Strengthen stakeholder engagement with clients, regulators, labour unions, and host communities.

• Oversee financial planning, cost control, and reporting to ensure operational sustainability and profitability.

• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and labour regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, Mining Engineering, or a related field. OR Advanced Coal Preparation Certificate

• Minimum 10 years’ senior management experience in mineral processing, with at least 5 years in coal processing plant operations.

• Strong technical understanding of coal beneficiation processes, plant optimization, and quality control.
