Position: Sales Executive
Business Unit: Multiple Franchises
Location: Gaborone

 

 

Purpose of the role:

 


To exceed customer expectations and targets. To also generate income potential by developing and expanding the customer base through creative and innovative sales strategies.

 

 

Key deliverables and outcomes:

 


The incumbent will be required to:

 

 

  • Meet and exceed sales targets through innovative selling skills.

  • Exceed customer requirements at every interface

  • Sell the range of available stock

  • Complete accurate and quality paperwork

  • Assume responsibility for risk

  • Exercise sound in dealing with customer expectations

  • Represent company in networking within external and challenging business environment

  • Follow up on sales opportunities (leads)

  • Follow through on sale after delivery of the vehicle

  • Keep customer up to date throughout the sales process

  • Urgent focus on selling process and the required timeline

 

 

Knowledge:

 

 

  • Up to date with product knowledge, sales, market and trends

  • General business and financial understanding

  • General understanding of valuation process

 

 

Skills:

 

 

  • Persuasive selling style

  • Listening skills

  • Planning, organising, control and time keeping

  • Sourcing

  • Deadline and Customer Service orientation

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to deal with customer diversities

  • Driver’s license

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel and Word)

  • O’Level/BGCSE

  • A proven achievement track record in sales will be an added advantage

  • A Marketing diploma will be an added advantage.
