Jindal Mmambula Energy Project, part of US 22 billion O P Jindal Group holds Mining License for about 3 billion tonnes of coal in the East Mmambula Coal Fields. The company has plans to carry out initially mining of 4.5 million tonnes per annum of coal and to set up a 600 MW power plant at Mmambula, along with the related infrastructure works. JOB TITLE-HT CABLE JOINTER | JOB CODE- MA

We are seeking a qualified HT Cable Jointer with proven experience in high- and low-voltage cable installation and maintenance for industrial power systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cable spiking, termination, and jointing for voltages ranging from 400V to 33kV.
• Connect and test cables according to project specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct cable fault tracing and repairs on high-voltage systems.
• Carry out inspections, identify defects, and ensure compliance with codes of practice.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all electrical safety protocols.
• Assist in installation and maintenance of underground and overhead cabling systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Trade Certificate or Diploma in Electrical or Power Systems.
• 5–10 years’ experience in high-tension (HT) cable jointing.
• Certification or training in HV cable jointing is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of cable codes of practice and safety regulations
