Scania Botswana (Pty) Ltd is the distributor for Scania heavy commercial trucks buses and engines. Scania operates from two dealerships in Botswana with a total of 5 service locations. The company offers equipment sales, after sales services and product support to all Scania vehicles operating within Botswana and has the following open vacancy for Botswana based applicants.
Summary
The main responsibility of the Technician is to perform high quality repairs and maintenance. The Technician’s competencies and a continuous improvement of the technical knowledge and skills in combination with a commercial mind-set, will ensure high level performance and customer satisfaction. Satisfied customers, on time delivery and safety at work is achieved by following defined processes, standards and guidelines. The Technician contributes to Scania’s profitability and safety on our roads.
Applicant must meet these minimum requirements
• Form 5 or equivalent / NCC equivalent
• Qualified Diesel Technician with Trade Test Certificate
• Must have MINIMUM of 3 YEARS Experience NOT NEGOTIABLE
• Previous workshop Experience with repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles (SCANIA)
• Driver’s license; code 14.
• Medically fit.
• Must be a resident of Botswana

Before Maintenance or Repair Event – Secure that right information, tools and spare parts are available

After Maintenance or Repair Event – Secure minimized lead time of invoicing. Through clear description of performed work and/or communicated what needs to be done if the work is handed over to a colleague
