We are looking for suitably qualified, highly motivated, talented, innovative, hands-on, dynamic team players capable of working both collaboratively, as well as independently. The positions are based at the Mine Site located between Maun and Sehithwa in Ngamiland. To be successful, you must enjoy getting out on site and have the enthusiasm, and interest to work in a remote location, as well as deliver in a multicultural work environment. *BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:
The Contract Specialist role ensures medium-high value goods and services are procured at the lowest possible cost, which meets business needs, while maintaining compliance with global procedures and ensuring continuous improvement
*CORE DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:
• Developing and implementing plans aligned to project or business objectives, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Managing daily activities, monitor workflows, and ensure resources are used effectively across teams or functions.
• Enforcing policies, procedures, and legal requirements while ensuring adherence to industry and company standards.
• Supporting budget development, tracking expenditures, and assisting in financial forecasting to maintain fiscal control.
• Identifying potential risks, implementing preventative measures, and monitoring controls for continuous improvement.
• Working across departments or stakeholder groups to drive cooperation, resolving challenges, and streamlining operations.
• Collecting, analysing, and presenting key performance metrics to inform decision-making and evaluate progress.
• Reviewing existing systems and workflows, suggesting improvements, and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and impact.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, government entities, or community partners to achieve project goals.
• Mentoring team members, promoting a culture of learning, and contributing to leadership growth within the organisation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in legal or commercial, or other relevant discipline.
Minimum Experience and Knowledge:
• 3–5 years’ experience in contract negotiation/admin.’
