The positions are based at the Mine Site located between Maun and Sehithwa in Ngamiland. 1. WAREHOUSE CONTROLLER

 

 

BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:

 

 

The Warehouse Controller is responsible for overseeing the storage, inventory, and distribution of materials and equipment within the mining operation. This role ensures efficient warehouse operations while maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.

 

 

CORE DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:

 

 

• Maintaining accurate inventory records through regular audits and tracking systems.
• Ensuring stock levels are adequate, and discrepancies are addressed promptly.
• Supervising receiving, storage, and dispatch of mining equipment and consumables.
• Confirming operational efficiency and compliance with SHEC protocols.
• Managing vendor relationships and delivery schedules.
• Ensuring timely stock replenishment and adherence to supply agreements.
• Leading warehouse personnel, provides training, promotes SHEC awareness, and fosters a high-performance culture focused on safety and results.
• Maintaining detailed logs of stock movements, audits, and discrepancies.
• Providing regular updates on management on inventory and warehouse performance.
• Ensuring all warehouse activities conform to health, safety, environmental, and company standards. Identifying and mitigating operational risks

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:
• Diploma or degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in warehouse management, preferably in mining or industrial sectors.
• Certifications in warehouse safety and handling practice are beneficial.
