JOB PURPOSE

 

To provide administrative and operational support for Human Resources activities across Hollard, ensuring smooth execution of HR processes and contributing to a positive employee experience.

 

 

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

*Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Excellence

 

• Coordination of recruitment, ensuring a seamless candidate experience from job posting to onboarding.
• Champion onboarding by curating orientation materials and facilitating impactful induction programs.

 

 

*Payroll & Benefits

 

• Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure accurate processing of timesheets, leave records, and overtime.
• Administer employee benefits.

 

 

*Employee Experience & Relations

 

• Serve as a trusted first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, ensuring prompt resolution and escalations where necessary.
• Drive employee engagement through the planning and execution of wellness initiatives, team-building events, and recognition programs.
• Support the resolution of employee relations matters, contributing to a respectful and inclusive workplace.

 

 

*Compliance & Strategic Reporting

 

• Maintain meticulous HR records to ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies.
• Assist in the preparation of insightful HR reports for leadership.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and data.

 

 

*Learning & Development Coordination

 

 

• Organise and manage training sessions and workshops, ensuring smooth logistics and attendance tracking.

 

 

*Talent Management and Development

 

• Assist in building a high-performance culture through performance reviews and feedback systems.
• Coordinate career development and succession planning activities.

 

 

*REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

The right candidate should have a Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or related. The incumbent should have 5 years’ experience in a similar role. They should have a strong knowledge of HR practices, Payroll, compensation and benefits, labour laws, and regulatory requirements in Botswana.
