JOB PURPOSE

 

To lead and support the strategic and operational delivery of Human Resources initiatives across Hollard, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a culture of excellence.

 

 

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

*Strategic HR Leadership

 

• Align HR strategies with business goals to support organisational growth.
• Provide expert guidance on workforce planning and change management.

 

 

*Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

 

• Lead recruitment and onboarding processes to attract top talent.
• Develop workforce plans in collaboration with business units.

 

 

*Employee Engagement & Relations

 

• Drive initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Resolve employee relations issues and support for policy implementation.

 

 

*Performance & Development

 

• Implement performance management systems and coach managers.
• Support leadership development and succession planning.

 

 

*Compensation & Benefits

 

• Manage payroll and benefits administration to ensure competitive compensation.
• Partner with providers and conduct audits to optimise offerings.

 

 

*Employee Wellness

 

• Design and implement wellness programs that promote holistic well-being.
• Monitor engagement and address wellness concerns proactively.

 

 

*Learning & Development

 

• Coordinate training programs based on business needs.
• Evaluate and improve learning initiatives for continuous development.

 

 

*HR Systems & Reporting

 

• Maintain HR databases and ensure accurate data reporting.
• Provide insights through HR analytics to support decision-making.

 

 

*Compliance & Policy Implementation

 

• Ensure HR practices comply with labour laws and internal policies.
• Develop and communicate HR policies and procedures.

 

 

*REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

The right candidate should have a Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or related. The incumbent should have 8 years’ experience in a similar role. They should have a strong knowledge of HR practices, Payroll, compensation and benefits, labour laws, and regulatory requirements in Botswana.
