The Projects Magazine — A leading business publication in mining,energy and economic development, is looking for a dynamic, curious and insightful Business Journalist to join our editorial team.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and write engaging news stories and features across Economy, Investment,Mining, Energy, Infrastructure development
• Conduct interviews with industry leaders, analysts, and stakeholders
• Attend press conferences, site visits, and industry events
• Collaborate with editors and photographers to produce high-quality content for both print and digital platforms
• Stay ahead of trends and developments in key sectors important to our audiences

Requirements

• Degree /Associate Degree in Media Journalism, Communications, or related field

• Proven experience as a business or financial journalist for 2+ years experience
• Strong writing, interviewing, and research skills
• Ability to interpret and simplify complex data and economic trends
• Understanding of Botswana’s economic landscape and regional developments
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines
• Social media proficiency is a plus
