JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd. (JCHX) has been awarded a five-year contract for underground mining services at MMG’s Khoemacau Copper Mine of Toteng, Zone 5, Botswana. JCHX, a global mining contractor with nearly 30 years of experience, will be responsible for the development and operation of the underground mine, including providing a comprehensive range of services from mine planning and construction to production.

We seek applications from suitably experienced and qualified individuals for the following positions to be based at Toteng, Zone 5:

a) HSE COORDINATOR (1)

Summary of Position

To implement, maintain and monitor the Safety & Health Management Programme, to ensure compliance to Mine procedures, standards and legal requirements.

Qualifications Requirements

• 5 years’ experience post qualification, with at least 3 of those in a mining
or heavy industrial environment.
• Botswana recognized Certificate in Safety and Health.
• Must have full knowledge of applicable OHS Management Systems
• Be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft packages.
• Knowledge and Awareness of relevant Botswana OHS statutes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Class B Manual Driver’s License
• Physically fit and able to pass pre-employment medical examinations and background checks.
