JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd. (JCHX) has been awarded a five-year contract for underground mining services at MMG’s Khoemacau Copper Mine of Toteng, Zone 5, Botswana. JCHX, a global mining contractor with nearly 30 years of experience, will be responsible for the development and operation of the underground mine, including providing a comprehensive range of services from mine planning and construction to production.

We seek applications from suitably experienced and qualified individuals for the following positions to be based at Toteng, Zone 5:

d) PUMP ELECTRICIAN (3)

Summary of Position

The Pump Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of high voltage electrical systems and equipment used in mining
operations. He/she will be working with electrical components of equipment like mining machinery, power distribution systems, and other electrical
infrastructure to ensure that the electricity requirements, minimize downtime and supporting operational targets.

Qualifications Requirements

• BGCSE plus NCC in HV Electrical or equivalent
• Class B Manual driver’s license
• 2 year post qualifying experience or successful completion of the Artisan Development Program (ADP)
• Knowledge of SHE Management System ISO 45001: 2018 and ISO 14001: 2015
• Physically fit and able to pass pre-employment medical examinations and background checks.
