FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES

Department of Pharmacy

Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy (Contract Position) *REF: Vacancy No: IRC 2849

QUALIFICATION:

Applicants should have:

(i) a PhD in Pharmacy Practice or related field;

ii) The following will be added advantages:

(i) sustained research activity: on-going internally and/or externally supported research;

(ii) examiner/ moderator/assessor for undergraduate and/or postgraduate projects nationally and (iii) effective and experience in running a programme/course, etc.’

UNIVERSITY TEACHING EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT:

Senior Lecturer 3 years

Duties:

The successful candidate will be expected to:

(i) teach post-graduate and undergraduate level courses in Pharmacy Practice;

(ii) supervise post graduate and undergraduate student’s projects as need may arise;

(iii) and perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
